Congratulations to The Climate Reality Project Canada, the not-for-profit winner of the Aprio’s 2020 Good Governance for All Award!

Our annual Good Governance for All Award recognizes a deserving not-for-profit by providing Aprio board portal software for free to better engage board members, run board meetings more efficiently, and ensure that board information is kept secure.

The Climate Reality Project Canada serves as the Canadian branch of a global movement of more than 21,000 dedicated volunteers in 154 countries around the world.

Organization Impact

Climate Reality Canada empowers its volunteers to be a critical part of the climate change conversation in Canada. To date, their volunteers have delivered thousands of climate presentations, reaching out to over 700,000 Canadians across the country.

Governance Needs

The organization currently sends its board materials and communicates with directors via email, which can be time consuming, confusing, and unsecure. In addition, directors are not able to easily access documents for future reference or effective participation.

Potential Benefits

The Aprio board portal will allow Climate Reality Canada’s board members to more efficiently manage their board work. All communication and board materials can now be shared and stored in one secure location, and board meeting preparation will become more efficient.
